Tuen Mun has been redesignated as a safe community by the World Health Organization following their designation in 2003 as the first safe community in Hong Kong.

As the first safe community in Hong Kong, our experiences could serve as a blueprint for development of other safe communities in the territory. We are committed to actively participate in the safe communities international network. Only through continuous improvement could we develop and fortify a strong safety culture for Tuen Mun and other communities in Hong Kong.
