To create a safe and health living and working environment for the community of Tuen Mun through the promotion of a safety culture.

We aspire to promote a safety culture through partnerships of corporations, government departments, local administration, health services providers, educational institutions, voluntary groups and other interested groups at the community level.

The Tuen Mun Safe Community aims to reduce the frequency of injuries and accidents through a structured and integrated approach. Programs to prevent and control injury problems for a wide range of target groups will be launched through coordination of resources, research, information sharing, promotion and education. Programs will be evaluated for their effectiveness and sustained improvement.

The Tuen Mun Safe Community is prepared to share its experiences with other communities in Hong Kong and other regions by participating in the safe community network under the World Health Organisation ( WHO ).
