Childhood Injury Prevention
From the injury data extracted from Accident Emergency Injury Surveillance (AEIS) of Caritas Medical Centre (CMC), children age below 4 attended AED was mainly due to domestic injury. |

Department of Health had produced promotion leaflets, posters, exhibition boards and distributed to the public to teach parents how to identify home hazards and the safety measures taken. Moreover, regular health talks on safety awareness were organized to kindergarten kids by the government departments, non-government organizations and the local hospital.

Fire Prevention Education for kids
Sham Shui Po District Fire Safety Committee and Sham Shui Po District Office jointly organized colouring competition, cross word puzzle to increase fire prevention knowledge for kids and their families. There were total 1, 550 entries obtained from the participants.

| Road Safety Promotion for Kids |
The Police Force arranged regular road safety talks to kindergarten students. These kids also visited one of the four Road Safety Parks in which they would be demonstrated how to use different kinds of road crossing facilities and the proper way of crossing the road. |

Sham Shui Po District Road Safety Campaign Committee organized colouring competition for kids and families to increase their awareness on road safety. This attracted 10,000 participants to join the competition. |
